In this letter, Patsy talks about taking her first plane trip the week before. She says once they left the ground, she wasn't afraid at all. How ironic that in 1963, she dies in a plane crash. She goes on to talk about her appearance on the Opry on Saturday, January 7, 1956. She also talks about going out after the Opry appearance that evening. She writes about going to the Plantation Club with upcoming stars and now legends such as Tony Bennett, Eddy Arnold, Ray Price. Bill Morgan, Audrey Williams (who was married to Hank Williams). She then goes on to talk about going on stage with Tony Bennett, Eddy Arnold, Ray Price and Bill Morgan to sing at the club that evening. They ended up doing 3 songs because the audience would not let them sit down! Imagine being present for such an historical event? This is a once in a lifetime chance to own such a unique piece of music history. Patsy Cline sharing her memories of her career in the making. Whether you are a fan of country music or music in general, this is an amazing piece of history.

There have been other letters from this collection available. But this one is ultra historical for Patsy's references to her first plane trip, her appearance on the Opry, her night out with Tonny Bennett, Eddy Arnold, Ray Price and Audrey Williams. Two days before her appearance on the Opry, Patsy had been in the studio recording songs such as I Love You Honey. This is 3 pages of Patsy Cline's thoughts and memories written in her own words.
