Most Entertainment Websites are born of focus groups.

This one was born of pure, dumb faith. When I first out to crate a weblog with a couple of talented friends, the prognosis was less than hopeful. At the time, most weblogs were personal sites, the general-interest websites would have seemed quixotic and kind of quaint. But with hubris brought on by ignorance, and with limited knowledge and idea about webbies and blogs, I proceeded nonetheless. The first site came in August 2005.

The next two months were not easy. I spent my days browsing the net, studying other blogs in layout, content and design. I even got myself copies of HTML codes and srcipts to suffice my needs. Within a few months, fresh from my creative mind, with the help of supportive friends; I had started work on an entirely new weblog, one firmly rooted in the present. At a time when many blogs and sites serve up saccharine diet celebrities and luxury goods, we wanted to create a publication that reflects how our readers and visitors really live, to bring the same fresh intelligince to both high culture and low. our goal is to make KAPAMILYA CENTRAL broad enough to include both a cheeky expose on GMA's sour graping and an incisive portrait of Kapamilya shows and stars --- and even brave anough to take on the hipocrisy of some Kapuso sites.

Looking at KCentral, I am proud of what we've accomplished. I am immensely grateful to the many people who have made it possible for us to deliver our vision and goal. KCENTRAL is a colorful, fierce, complex reflection of our television industry. We are honored to deliver Responsible Blogging and Objective Reportage.
