Press Release:- Monday november 3rd 12.30 p.m. Glastonbury Radio have called for presenter Jonathan Ross to "turn his back on the BBC and join the world of Internet radio"... As more and more people turn to the Internet as their main source of listening to the radio and wtaching online TV, Hemsworth believes Jonathan would be "ten times happier" on an Internet radio station and added "as we know he would bring us an even bigger audience, we would even be interested in giving him shares int he station as an incentive". Glastonbury Radio have big ambitions and already gets in excess of ten million hits a month to it's website and has recently signed comedienne Amy Blackburn as a presenter, one of the stars of the Shipwrecked TV series and leading astrologer STEVE JUDD does a weekly live programme. They have also been pursuing a well known former Radio One presenter to join the team. Ross said "OFCOM and the guidelines set out to broadcasters such as the BBC, mean that presenters are not free to speak their own minds, and the recent answerphone message saga with Andrew Sachs shows this. It was just a joke and no harm was meant - and on Internet radio they would not have to answer to governing bodies in this way!" Jonathan's representatives have not yet responded to this offer.
