PAVA's export shipments: approaching last year’s results after 8 months

Following the results of 8 months in 2008 PAVA exported 31,666 tonnes of flour, which is 83,9% of the total volume of flour the company shipped abroad in 2008.

 

The largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East OJSC PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru) whose flour mills are located in the Altay and Krasnoyarsk Regions of Russia, is rapidly increasing rates of establishing its presence on overseas markets. After the company won the competition by Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade “Best Exporter 2007”, in 2008 PAVA secured and even strengthened its market position abroad. Following the results of 8 months in 2008 PAVA shipped 31,666 tonnes of flour to the countries of far and near abroad. This is 83,9% of the total volume of flour exported by the company in 2008. The company has all the chances of exceeding last year’s export volume. Today the company has established relations with wholesalers and manufacturers from 13 countries. Among them are Mongolia and Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Kirghizia, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, besides, PAVA flour is shipped to Somalia, Ethiopia, North Korea, Bangladesh, Thailand and others. The International Business department envisages signing more contracts, expanding the list of partner countries. OJSC PAVA has a number of features increasing the company’s appeal for collaboration with overseas countries. The undisputed advantage of enterprises integrated in the PAVA Group is their geographic location. Flour mills of the grain processor are situated close to export borders. PAVA is the only company over the Urals that is able to manufacture huge volumes of products to meet export needs, which are characterized by steadily high quality.
